Two international artists and music professors at the University of Florida came together in 2018 to form an eclectic Duo with the artistic mission to expand their desire to create new possibilities for expressing their art using the voice of a trumpet with the orchestral accompaniment of a Brazilian/classical guitar. Fostering beautiful melodies with creative arrangements, their repertoire comes from a vast collection of Brazilian songs to classical overtures to western popular repertoires for the trumpet using its unique range and colorful texture to create memorable moments mixed with the tenderness and rhythmic drive of a classical guitar. During the past three years, TREMURA & LEE has been engaged in live and virtual concerts at major performing halls in Florida and two international tours in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Malaga). The Duo has also received several invitations to perform in South America (Argentina, Brazil, and Ecuador) and Europe.

In addition to performing, they are passionate and completely engaged in promoting education and training. The Duo enjoys outreach concerts and masterclasses ranging from Brazilian music workshops, trumpet/brass pedagogy, and arts advocacy.
